Special announcements
LSU President John Lombardi and Dean John Hamilton of the university’s Manship School of Communication announced a newly created endowed chair in Media Literacy to work in partnership with Stony Brook’s Center for News Literacy; Syracuse University President Nancy Cantor announced that her university will begin teaching News Literacy as a general education course in the spring of 2010.
